Frequently Asked Questions - FAQ

Q. Do you sell photography that's been shot in other countries?
A. Yes - But a very limited number. I want to keep my main focus on Australian photography.

Q. Do you ship anywhere in the world?
A. Absolutely - anywhere!

Q. What size are your prints?
A. I have a number of print sizes available to order directly from the website. Simply click the "Order Now" button that's beside the print size that you would like.

Q. Do you do other sized prints?
A. Absolutely! If you want other sizes just contact me and I'll send you the prices.

Q. What does matting mean?
A. Matting is a thick card backing and thick card border that is applied around the print.

Q. Are you photos matted?
A. The description beside each print tells you whether matting is done on the image. My photos are matted using archival acid-free matting and glues.

Q. What is a stock photo?
A. Stock photography is the art of creating images from photography for use in mediums other than personal display - such as television and print advertising, newspapers, magazines, art and craft projects, school projects, educational purposes and basically any other idea that you could think of to use the image. Stock photos are usually downloadable digitally and are available to the mass market - usually via the Internet.
For example: BigStockPhoto is a stock photo agency.

Q. Which photos of yours are stock photos and which ones are prints?
A. All the landscape and nature images here are prints available for purchase from myself. The stock photos are the ones clearly seen as being "set-up", or posed. These are shown as being downloadable from an external stock photo agency.

Q. How do I know your prints are genuinely printed in a professional photographic laboratory and not on any home-based inkjet printer?
A. I give you a guarantee that all my prints are professionally printed in a professional photographic laboratory. The certificate of authenticity (COA) is your guarantee.

Q. How long after buying a print before I receive it?
A. If you're in Australia - usually within 3 working days, and around 6 days or more internationally. Although - I have had items arrive in the USA within 2 days!

Q. If I buy more than one item are you going to charge me more for postage?
A. No - Postage is a fixed one-off cost. I don't make any money from packaging, handling and posting.

Q. Where the bloody hell is Australia?
A. Grab yourself one of those spinning globes of the world and turn it completely upside-down. You'll now be looking at Australia. They don't call us the "land from down-under" for nothing!
